You are off to a good start keep at it. The key to drawing is patience, and most of all, stubbornness. If you don't have the mentality of a mule and the drive of a street racer you won't get that far. You are all ready showing signs of promise. Keep it up! :iconthumbsupplz:

I was really annoyed when I was younger and inexperienced to, I still do, but remember that we all start off with stick people and work our way up. Oh, and don't feel bad about cheating by tracing, the exorcise will actually help you get the feel for hand movements and detail. Another good exorcise is to look at something while you draw it. Be patient with your free hand, that takes years to master along with finding your own unique stile, but I assure you that you'll get there if you love drawing.
One more tip, if you get frustrated or lose focus stop and come back later. Trust me, that helps a lot if you have trouble sitting still for to long.
Good luck with future endeavors young Padawon.
